Unicomer LogoToday, we are going to discover Unicomer Group. This group which was founded in the year 2000 is positioned in different retail chains. The group sells a large variety of products featuring worldwide recognized brands of large and small appliances, furniture, electronics and a variety of accessories. Unicomer is mostly active in the Caribbean and Central/Latin America. Their vision and values like diverse environment promoting integrity, honesty and respect for others are also shared values by Bansard International Group.

Therefore, we are working with Unicomer's furniture brand to send furniture, like chairs and tables, across the Pacific ocean to 12 countries in the Caribbean. The complexity of the project lies in the multiple origins. Our Free Trade Zone (FTZ) warehouse in Shanghai was receiving, by truck and feeder, goods from China, Malaysia & Vietnam. This multi-country consolidation (MCC) is managed fast by providing a loading plan in 48 hours and also a daily inventory, Some of our main added values are our reactivity and flexibility. We have a 2 weeks pre-booking to insure the shipments with the opportunity to adapt to customer needs once a week.

A total of 3.100 CBM and 179 SKU has been transited via Shanghai. Moreover, some value-added services had been provided also by Bansard China logistics team as combo preparations, where our team was making kits of chairs and table. This kitting service at origin offers a cost and time-saving solutions for faster deconsolidation at the destination and thus providing a shorter time-to-market.

In Asia, the achievements of this complex operations are due to the good coordination of the Bansard Vietnam, Singapore, and China teams as well as the great reactivity and flexibility provided by our logistics teams and of course the work at reception by our partner in Central America: America Logistics Group (ALG). Bansard and ALG were hand-in-hand with Central America logistics development out of the world. Bansard global structure is a perfect fit to ensure the right logistics added value in Central America with ALG. Our multiple collaborations in the past have helped us to create a strong relationship. Bansard Latam Vice-President, Mauro MAZZACURATI based in Mexico, also confirm that the collaboration with ALG is on the edge to pursue further 3PL (Third-party Logistics) projects in the region.
